Bakti Desa 2019

Bakti Desa is one of SMAN 3 Bandung activities for the students. Bakti desa is an activity to live in a rural area and the students help with the activities of the people there for several days. The purpose of this event is to make students know how to live in the village as well as to provide opportunities for students to share their knowledge and bring the positive open minded for people in that village. This year, this activities is located in Cibeureum village, Kertasari sub-district, Bandung district.  Me and my friends left there using public transportation and traveled for 3 hours.

Until there, we stopped at the village hall for the opening of this event and some remarks from the school principal and village head. After that we were distributed to homeowners in the village who had already been recorded. I live with Achmad, Fariz, and Mr. Ramdani in Bu Ipah's house. The distance between the house I live in and the house that my other friends have is not far away.
On the first day we helped the children there by giving them some useful lessons and games. The surrounding community and also the children there are very happy for our arrival to help them there.

Most of the community work is gardening and the mother works as a planter. they had very large land in a mountainous area that was very far from home but it was very pleasant. my class also held a bazzar that provided various clothes ranging from children to adults. in the bazzar it also provides various textbooks. We were very happy because the bazzar was very crowded and the residents were very enthusiastic.

This activitis is very interesting and i also enjoyed to live in Cibeureum village for 3 days. I hope that what we have provided will be useful for the children there and also this activity is expected to make ourselves better.
