Gathapraya 2017

My school organize a culture festival. This festival is a yearly event and my school already organize this festival since 2014. this festival was organize in order to grow our sense of love to traditional culture in Indonesia and for remind indonesian people how important Indonesian culture that we have. my school keep going to share sense of love to indonesian culture every year with the different concept but with the same meaning. Every year this festival has a different name. so, this year this festival has name "Gathapraya 2017".

We have prepared this event for a long time, the seniors from  18 and 19 have prepared this event for about 1 year while me and my new generation came in, so we just help prepare this event about some months. I'm in the visual documentation commitee, so this division's job is to prepare a video ad, then take photos and videos at the event, and make an after movie. There are many other divisions such as decoration, publication, and others. We as part of the citizen from SMA Negeri 3 bandung strive and try the best to succeed this event start from preparing fund, custome for the comittee, parade every week, facing shortage until finally the day of event arrived.

On September 30, 2017,  finally the event of Gathapraya 2017 festival of literary and cultural art was finally started. The committee has been preparing the stuff from yesterday and there are even up to stay at the bail court and at dawn of the day all of committee had a last meeting and we hope the event can be success. The first activity at this Gathapraya event is a cultural parade that starts from the saparua court to the bali court where the Gathapraya event takes place. I as a documentary committee with my friends followed the parade to took photos and videos.

When the parade is over, participants of the fashion show whose members are representatives of grade 10 sman 3 bandung are given breaks to ate and to relax for a moment. While the rest, the committee began preparing the gate to open at 12 o'clock. At 12 o'clock we open the gate, the  fashion show participants were ready and taken to the stage. The visitors started came to the event  while we continued the fashion show.

The event was started and filled by the appearance of band from another high school and also from some extracurricular in sman 3 bandung. While enjoying the appearance ,the visitors can enjoy a variety of foods and drinks at the food stand contained in the field of basketball. The main part was started, opened with the appearance of T'ST that is extracurricular kabaret SMA Negeri 3 Bandung. They feature a story about "wayang cepot" combined with modern culture. After this part there is a break and continued with the appearance of Elephant Kind but I did not watch because i was eating and resting. I returned to the field during the appearance of Vina Chandrawati and Didi Nini Towo.

And finally the main of the band appearance arrived, maybe all the audience were waiting for this band. This band is HIVI! Yess this is one band that are a favourite of young child with their popular song. I'm very lucky because I'm a documentary committee so I can watch on the front of the stage. The performance was very good, they give a lot of songs and audience very happy to see the performance. And finally the appearance of HIVI finished and closed with a little bit rain.

Some of the audience has already go to their house because of rain or less interested in the next artist that is Nidji. But, I think the performance of nidji was on fire and very excited and also they give the their best performance. Almost every song they give motivates us and makes us jump and jump for enjoy this song. They closed the event Gathapraya 2017 with a very extraordinary performance.

And the event was over, I went back to the gathering place of the committee. Because tired all day work, when I get there my body feels stiff until i can not walk hahaha .... but tired of this job paid off with satisfactory results. What an experience I will never forget. First time to enter this sma and given a very extraordinary experience. I hope this event will continue in the future and continue to provide good benefits for everyone.
